This album is also like a journey where Maeno, who has picked up songs while walking through the city, weaves sounds and words to trace his path and revive the scenery.

He calmly records scenes and landscapes that moved his heart, like sketching or taking photographs.
Flowers, humans, cicadas, festivals. The shop owner dozing off at a coffee shop, the boss at an izakaya. The sunset at the bicycle race track after the race, lukewarm beer. Lyrics that are written without affirming or denying, simply entrusting oneself to the scenery.

While this style of lyric writing has existed before, it has become clearer and more distinct in this work.
Perhaps this is because the artist repeatedly expressed in interviews and travel essays that “there is already a song in the spoken voice,” which influenced the recording. The stripped-down, flat singing voice conveys the world of the lyrics without omission.
