**What is "Good Bacteria Bio"?**
Good Bacteria Bio refers to a type of enzyme called "biological active substances" obtained by skillfully cultivating indigenous bacteria that live everywhere in daily life, using our proprietary technology.

Bacteria include beneficial (good) bacteria and harmful (bad) bacteria, and there is said to be a group called "opportunistic bacteria" (hiyori-mikin) that are neither good nor bad under normal conditions.

Under normal circumstances, the balance is roughly 10% bad bacteria, 10% good bacteria, and 80% opportunistic bacteria. However, environmental changes can increase the proportion of bad bacteria, causing opportunistic bacteria to side with the bad bacteria and attack the good bacteria.

This leads to the occurrence of features associated with bad bacteria, such as "decay and foul odor."

However, by creating an environment where good bacteria can thrive, opportunistic bacteria will side with the good bacteria, promoting "fermentation," which is a characteristic of beneficial bacteria.

"Fermentation" is an essential process in environments inhabited by humans.

The special enzymes of Good Bacteria Bio help promote and support the activity of these beneficial bacteria.

**"Only minimal surfactants are used."**
Most commercially available laundry detergents are manufactured with surfactants as the main cleaning component.

This is indicated by surfactants being listed first on the ingredient label.

However, Elegant Aqua successfully keeps the amount of surfactants in the detergent below 0.5%, while maintaining strong cleaning power.

Surfactants are not inherently bad.

They emulsify oils during washing, dispersing dirt into the wash water and helping to remove stains. However, most of the environmental burden from detergents comes from surfactants.

Standard laundry detergents use large amounts of surfactants: about 20-7% in powder form and about 40-0% in liquid form, sometimes including foam suppressants (silicone) to reduce foam.

Elegant Aqua contains only about 0.5% surfactants, so it produces almost no foam during washing.

This means rinsing is quicker, saving water and time.

By reducing surfactant content, you can fully experience the benefits of this detergent.

**"Environmentally friendly as well."**
Because Elegant Aqua contains almost no surfactants and uses highly biodegradable raw materials, it significantly reduces environmental impact.

It has also achieved excellent results in fish toxicity tests with goldfish.

The test involved exposing goldfish to water (the most concentrated solution) used during washing for 48 hours to see if they could survive.

No goldfish died during the experiment, and after the test, they were kept in normal environments and are still swimming happily in aquariums.
