For the past 40 years, I have constantly been expected to deliver "what's next."
Because of this, I have continued to upgrade my equipment and sound.
However, the mission of composition is to give shape to people's hearts.
Looking back, my own heart has not been updated and remains as human as ever.
I am filled with gratitude to my staff, friends, family, and fans who have allowed me to continue writing songs for these 40 years as myself.
This time, I am enjoying reuniting not only with "what's next" but also with the past works that we have created together.
I hope this can be a turning point for me to walk again towards my future musical life.

Reuniting with the songs I've made in the past, and reuniting with the artists who made me known as a composer, was an incredibly joyful and precious experience.
What has changed for each of us since the days we created these works together?
How about our work styles? Our values?
"It's been a while." As soon as the recording begins, familiar voices echo in the studio.
Although many songs have had their sounds significantly changed from the originals, as soon as the unchanging melody begins to play, my heart is instantly transported back to those days.
