"Nobunaga's Ambition: Ten-Do" was acclaimed for its new strategic element of "territory attrition" in addition to "castle sieges" on a beautifully rendered, single 3D map of Japan. This expansion adds the new element of "Culture," further broadening strategic possibilities for a deeper and more vibrant conflict. The familiar editor functions of the Power-Up Kit have also been enhanced, and for the first time in the series, the "AI Editor" allows you to edit the computer's thought processes. You can set AI for all daimyo to compete for unification of the land, or share your created AI to aim for the first to reach the capital, with infinite possibilities for gameplay depending on your ideas. Furthermore, this "AI Editor" includes an "Auto Cruising Function" that allows you to delegate some or all commands to the computer, enabling a new playstyle where you only take control when you want to. You can leave internal affairs to the computer and focus solely on battles, or delegate all commands to the computer and watch your forces grow as if you were a retired daimyo, intervening only when necessary. This allows even SLG beginners to easily experience the thrill of expanding their territory by mastering various commands.
