The "inappropriate" remarks of the Showa dad cause a stir in the Reiwa era!
The protagonist, Ichiro Ogawa, is a typical Showa "old man" who, through a strange turn of events, slips from 1986 into the modern day of 2024.
A "Showa old man" with low compliance awareness, Ichiro's "inappropriate" remarks in Reiwa are just barely acceptable.
However, his extreme opinions spark thought among the compliance-bound people of Reiwa.
Even as eras change from Showa to Reiwa, some things remain unchanged—parents loving their children, children feeling distant from their parents, and the feelings of love for someone.
The story also explores human bonds with Ichiro, who lost his wife, his only daughter, and the people he meets after slipping through time—an entirely original story with elements of human comedy.

【Synopsis】
In 1986—Ichiro Ogawa (Sadao Abe) is a strict physical education teacher in the Showa era, known for his harsh "love whip" discipline. He also serves as the baseball team advisor and is feared by students as "Hell Ogawa."
At home, he is a typical father raising his 17-year-old daughter Junko (Yumi Kawai) alone, worried about her delinquency. Recently, he’s been especially concerned that Junko might bring boys home and be intimate.
One day, while smoking on the bus as usual, Ichiro dozes off...
When he wakes, he sees a high school girl in a skirt that looks like it might reveal her underwear, with udon noodles hanging from her ears, boarding the bus. Ichiro feels something is off and points it out, but the other passengers argue that Ichiro himself smoking on the bus is strange.
He hurriedly gets off the bus and sees a bizarre scene with unfamiliar people dressed strangely.
He rushes into his familiar café "Scandal," unable to comprehend what’s happening, and, without thinking, drinks Nagisa Kanashima’s beer at the counter, leading to an argument...
Meanwhile, on the same day in 1986, Junko is suddenly confessed to by Kiyoshi Mukaizaka (Aito Sakamoto). Kiyoshi, a middle schooler and sociologist, has also time-traveled from Reiwa to Showa with his mother Sakie (Yoshida Yo). He falls in love at first sight with Junko after meeting her by chance in town.
Despite secretly harboring feelings for "Mucchi-senpai" (Atsumu Akitsu), Junko tries to bring Kiyoshi into her home...!?
