To commemorate the memorial year, we are reissuing 43 of Solti's masterpieces. ※This grand symphony based on the German Faust legend was composed as a response to Berlioz's "The Damnation of Faust," which also uses the same theme. Due to its length, it is rarely performed, but the Hungarian-born master Solti left a splendid CD recording.
