Her folk debut 『Sum Of All Grace』 in 2004 received three music awards and drew attention, but she aims for a free indie style without creative constraints or easy categorization, continuing her music at her own pace. Her third album 『Anchor』 and fifth album 『Pocketful of Poetry』, which embody her worldview, are filled with melancholic melodies and are exquisite acoustic pop works that have achieved remarkable success not only in her home country but also in Japan. She also showcases her lively side in the dance-pop unit Hive Riot, formed with her brother-in-law Dustin Gledhill, revealing her overflowing talent as a true artist.
