Makkippa, as the name suggests, is a new sensation casting blade jig that you simply cast and reel. In saltwater fishing, casting jigs are a staple lure due to their casting distance and effectiveness on a wide variety of fish species. However, they can be difficult to achieve the desired action with and challenging to maintain the target depth, requiring skill and experience to use effectively. Makkippa has been thoroughly tuned to overcome the difficulties of casting jigs, making them easy for anyone to handle. It is equipped with a blade at the tail that has a high fish-attracting effect just by reeling, and further features the Blade Hook System (PAT.) which allows for high-probability hook-ups from blade bites without hindering the blade's rotation. The calculated body balance and placement of each part ensure stable swimming and flashing to attract targets without the body spinning. By reeling immediately after it lands, you can target the surface layer, and by letting it sink before reeling, you can maintain depth in the mid-water or near the bottom, allowing you to target fish at their swimming depth. It comes standard with an assist hook with tinsel, which is effective for all types of fish, and the "Omakase Eye" on the belly allows for the addition of double or treble hooks to suit your preference. Attaching a hook to the Omakase Eye is particularly effective for fish that bite from the bottom. Target species include a wide variety such as seabass, flatfish, sand borer, yellowtail (buri, inada, warasa), Spanish mackerel, greater amberjack, horse mackerel, mackerel, cutlassfish, red sea bream, black sea bream, and rockfish.
