This recording is from Bob Dylan's first tour of Japan in 1978, specifically the performance at Nippon Budokan Hall in Tokyo, Japan, on February 21st. A total of 11 shows were scheduled across Tokyo and Osaka. The performance documented in this item is the second show of the Japan tour and is a valuable archive recording of Bob Dylan's historic concerts. Bob Dylan is famously known for having no MCs during his stage performances, but during his early Japan tours, he did offer "Thank you" greetings and brief MCs between songs. The shows were divided into two parts, and announcements were made during the intermission after the first part, realistically capturing the atmosphere of the time. The setlist features reggae-influenced numbers, and the overall sound composition includes many songs with a sense of speed, allowing you to enjoy a dynamic stage performance.
