**The long-awaited sequel to the Sunday drama "Black Pean" (2018)!**
Starring Kazuya Ninomiya as the globally renowned genius surgeon, Yukihiko Amagi!
An entertainment that surpasses the excitement and scale of the previous work!

**About the Work**
This is the highly anticipated sequel to the Sunday drama "Black Pean," starring Kazuya Ninomiya, which aired in April 2018. It marks his return to the Sunday drama after six years.
Season 2 takes place six years after Season 1.
The original story is based on Takeru Kaido’s novels "Blaze Messer 1990" and "Syrisie Center 1991" (Kodansha Bunko).
Kaido has continued to raise issues about Japan’s medical problems through entertainment.
The "Black Pean" series, called the "Bubble Trilogy," includes "Black Pean 1988," "Blaze Messer 1990," and "Syrisie Center 1991," which have collectively sold over 1.6 million copies and are highly supported by fans.

In this work, Ninomiya plays Yukihiko Amagi, a world-class genius surgeon who is both a devilish figure who manipulates people and money.
He has worked for many years at the Heart Center in Gold Coast, Australia, with exceptional surgical skills, especially in coronary artery bypass surgery, and is the only doctor capable of performing the direct anastomosis technique.
He is a person who can even fascinate his rivals.

On the other hand, to undergo Amagi’s surgery, one must win a game of chance called "Chance Sample" (a binary choice), which demands half of the person’s assets as a stake, earning him the nickname "Diable (Devil)" among doctors.
Furthermore, he bears a striking resemblance to Watari, who was at Tojo University Hospital six years ago.
Despite being a sequel, he plays a new role as "Yukihiko Amagi."
Familiar members from Season 1 of "Black Pean" reunite:
- Masashi Sera (Ryoma Takeuchi)
- Miwa Hanabusa (Wakana Aoi)
- Gonta Takashina (Koutarou Koizumi)
- Seigo Saeki (Seiyo Uchi)

Additionally, new cast members include Kim Mujeong, Minjae (Kim Mujeong), Koji Tanaka, Koji Seki, and others.

Six years after Watari left Tojo University, Sera begins to walk as a full-fledged surgeon.
Saeki, now hospital director, plans new initiatives.
And the globally renowned genius surgeon Amagi—what will be the outcome?
The desires related to "medical" are stirring.
A medical entertainment that surpasses the excitement and scale of the previous work, revolving around "medicine and money" and "medical revolution," begins again!

**Highlights**
- Kazuya Ninomiya stars as a world-class genius surgeon who manipulates both people and money!
In Season 1, Ninomiya played Seijiro Watari, a surgeon with exceptional suturing skills, earning praise for his skillful handling and dark hero image.
In this work, he portrays Yukihiko Amagi, a look-alike of Watari, who is the only doctor capable of performing the direct anastomosis technique and is called "Diable (Devil)," a world-class genius surgeon.

- The "Team Black Pean" reassembles! Ryoma Takeuchi, Wakana Aoi, Koutarou Koizumi, Yurina Sugi, and Seiyo Uchi reunite!
- New cast members include Kim Mujeong, Minjae, Koji Tanaka, Koji Seki, and others!

- Based on Takeru Kaido’s novels "Blaze Messer 1990" and "Syrisie Center 1991" (Kodansha Bunko).
The "Black Pean" series, called the "Bubble Trilogy," including "Black Pean 1988," "Blaze Messer 1990," and "Syrisie Center 1991," has exceeded 1.6 million copies in total and is highly supported by fans!

- The theme song is "Sono Saki ni Aru Mono" ("What Lies Beyond") by Kazumasa Oda!
Six years after the theme song "Kono Michi" ("This Road") from Season 1, a new song written specifically for this work has been released.

**Synopsis**
Seigo Saeki (Seiyo Uchi), the hospital director of Tojo University Hospital, is advancing plans to open a new hospital specializing in cardiac surgery.
His next target is to become the president of the Japan Medical Association.
Cardiovascular surgeon Masashi Sera (Ryoma Takeuchi) receives a letter from Saeki to deliver to Dr. Yukihiko Amagi, who works at the Heart Center in Gold Coast, Australia, while attending an international conference there.

Sera and his senior doctor, Yuji Kakitani (Haruka Uchimura), travel to Australia and find a boy who has lost consciousness on the beach in Gold Coast, performing emergency treatment.
A mysterious man appears before Kakitani, who is puzzled by the boy’s slow recovery.
Following his advice, the boy survives.

Later, Sera and others attend the conference but fail to meet Amagi.
Disappointed, they meet Park So-hyun (Choi Ji-woo) and her son Min-jae (Kim Mujeong), who have come to Australia searching for Amagi.
They eventually find Amagi at a horse racing track, and Sera, Kakitani, and Min-jae head there.
There, they encounter a mysterious man who looks exactly like Seijiro Watari, who left Tojo University six years ago.
He is none other than Yukihiko Amagi, the "Diable" (Devil), a world-class genius surgeon who manipulates both people and money.
