This is a dried vegetable made by freeze-drying high-quality "mountain yam" cultivated under contract with producers in Akita and Aomori.Enjoy the fresh stickiness and flavor of 100% mountain yam (tsukune imo).
**How to eat:**Transfer the product to a container, gradually add 30g to 50g of water (about 1/4 of a paper cup), and knead to your desired consistency while stirring.Let it rest for a few minutes for increased stickiness.
* For grated yam soup, dilute with your preferred dashi broth, stretch well, and add "green onions" or "seaweed" for enhanced flavor.* For "yamakake" with tuna, or as a topping for "soba" or "udon" noodles, or as a dipping sauce for grated yam.* Knead firmly and wrap in seaweed to deep-fry for "shinjo-age," or add shrimp paste for "shrimp shinjo."* Add to okonomiyaki or takoyaki batter for a fluffy texture.
