● Miho Hazama, since her major debut in 2012, has been active worldwide based in New York as a jazz composer. Her achievements are truly remarkable, serving as the principal conductor of the Danish Radio Big Band (DRBB) and the permanent guest conductor of the prestigious Dutch Metropole Orkest. In 2021, she released the original album "Imaginary Visions" with DRBB, and in November 2022, she successfully led DRBB on a tour of Japan.
● The core of Hazama's activities is the 13-member jazz chamber orchestra "m_unit," which includes French horn and strings. Its charm lies in its gorgeous and nuanced sound, which differs from typical big bands.
● This work is the 4th installment from m_unit, 5 years after "Dancer in Nowhere," which was nominated for "Best Large Jazz Ensemble Album" at the 62nd Grammy Awards. It consists of original compositions by Miho Hazama, with the exception of one song (Earth, Wind & Fire's "Can't Hide Love").
