Designed to be active even under harsh conditions, this full HD video digital camera features toughness with waterproof capabilities evolved to 12m. It is useful for outdoor scenes such as marine sports and winter sports. Additionally, it is equipped with GPS functions and a compass, barometer, altitude (water depth) meter, which are convenient for mountain climbing and travel records. It also supports full HD AVCHD video recording. The lens is a Leica DC Vario-Elmar with a 28mm wide-angle (bending type) and optical 4.6x zoom (28–128mm), allowing high-quality still images and videos. Furthermore, it features a new slide 3D shooting function for easy 3D photography.
Waterproof to 12m, dustproof, resistant to low temperatures down to -10°C, shockproof from 2m, with an enhanced tough body. It has a waterproof structure up to 12m, dustproof structure, and can withstand low temperatures of -10°C. It can be used safely without a dedicated waterproof case all year round, such as at beaches or snowy mountains. It also passes a drop test from 2m, making it suitable for various scenes and seasons, from daily use to outdoor activities.
Four scene modes—“Beach & Snorkeling,” “Underwater,” “Snow,” and “Sports”—are set as shooting modes according to the scene. Each preset includes suitable white balance and exposure settings. Active mode for steady walking shooting, which corrects large shakes during movie recording.
