[Story]
August 1, 1999. Seven children, who were supposed to be at summer camp, are suddenly thrown onto a mysterious island. Taichi, Sora, Yamato, Koushiro, Mimi, Joe, and Takeru. This was File Island in the Digital World, another dimension. They meet seven Digital Monsters, or Digimon, mysterious creatures who say they "were waiting for the children." The infant Digimon who saved Taichi and the others from the ferocious Kuwagamon evolve into their rookie forms. They repel Kuwagamon! Taichi and the others decide to travel with the Digimon to return to the real world. Crises await them at every turn. Battles with Digimon that attack one after another. The mysteries of the Digital World. —The summer adventure of the chosen children and their Digimon begins, staking the fate of both the Digital World and the real world!!
