Commemorating the 40th anniversary of YMO's formation. All albums are being reissued sequentially with the latest remastering by master engineer Bob Ludwig.
Recording began on the release date of "BGM." This work, acclaimed as the world's first full-scale sampler album, utilizing the custom-made sampler LMD-649, is now available on SACD Hybrid for the first time. Incorporating elements such as minimal and ethnic music, this album, alongside "BGM," represents the peak of their avant-garde direction. Includes tracks like "Taiso" and "Pure Jam." (Released in 1981)
