The J-Stream series was launched in spring 2009 with the concept of "a fly rod for fishing Japan's mountain streams." Designed with the target fields of yamame (Japanese trout) and iwana (white-spotted char) in mind, each model was developed with a specific concept, focusing on the required strength and action.
For this full model overhaul, while inheriting the original concept, we reviewed the fields of use and incorporated feedback accumulated over the past ten years from experts and users during development.
