The third and fourth installments of the "Jazz Collection 1000" series, which saw great success with the release of 50 titles in the first installment in February and 50 titles in the second installment in March. Similar to the first and second installments, this series focuses on the two major American labels, Columbia and RCA, and releases 100 titles (50 titles in the third installment released on 9/24, 50 titles in the fourth installment released on 10/22) from Sony Music's rich jazz catalog. This includes titles that fans have long wished to see reissued and rare works that are currently difficult to obtain, all released at a special price of \1,000 + tax (\1,500 + tax for 2-disc sets). The lineup and price are just as desirable for jazz fans as the first and second installments. All titles include new liner notes.
