TECHNOLOGY

LIGHT & TOUGH

A thorough commitment to lightweight design in details such as body, spool, and handle. The gear, which is the heart of the reel, and the body material have evolved to become more durable, establishing a new standard for Daiwa's compact spinning reels, called LT.

Magshield

Magshield, based on the concept of "blocking liquids with liquids," uses a magnetic wall of Mag oil that can exist semi-permanently through magnetism to prevent seawater and dust from entering the reel interior, Daiwa's unique technology.

Tough Digigear

Adopts "Tough Digigear" which ensures smoother rotation for longer. Achieves near noiseless rotation, accurately responding to delicate finger sensations of anglers.

ATD

Controls drag force in response to fish pulling, preventing the fish from gaining the lead. A loose drag setting is effective to utilize this feature.
