A standard model of Daiwa's upper-class rods packed with user-friendly features
Easy to cast, with a flexible and sturdy blank design that floats fish well. Equipped with a new screw seat that securely holds the reel and maintains proper reel position. Uses FUJI carbon resin frame guides (C-IMSG) on the tip section (up to 2 fixed), enabling light handling. Features guide alignment marks for easy setup day or night, even for beginners. Equipped with X45 to prevent twisting and bending during casting. The flexible Megatop supports hooking (excluding HR long-distance). Features HVF blanks with power and toughness, and a luxurious, shiny body design. The butt end uses a new tactile coating adopted in tournaments, increasing grip comfort.
Equipped with FUJI lightweight carbon resin frame C-IMSG (up to 2 fixed), achieving a sharp casting feel and reducing line tangles. The high-sensitivity, high-strength Megatop (excluding HR long-distance) enhances sensitivity and strength. The Daiwa original screw seat reduces reel wobble, ensuring smooth power transfer from hook to body, enabling a controlled fight.
HR (main stream) model
Equipped with FUJI lightweight carbon resin frame C-IMSG (up to 2 fixed), providing a sharp casting feel and reducing line tangles. The tubular tip offers light handling, and the Daiwa original screw seat reduces reel wobble.
Specifications details
New screw seat
A new screw-type reel seat designed to firmly fix the reel and facilitate smooth line flow, optimizing the basic operation of fishing rods that attract fish, completed with a shape that enhances comfort.
Equipped with C-IMSG (excluding TOPG, fixed up to 2nd section) + Megatop
For the floating model, equipped with lightweight FUJI carbon resin frame guides. The lightweight tip reduces the burden of casting and rod wobble, making operation more comfortable. Also features a high-sensitivity, high-strength Megatop (excluding HR long-distance).
Guide alignment mark
The first in its class to adopt guide alignment marks, allowing precise and quick preparation.
DAIWA TECHNOLOGY
X45
Twist prevention is appropriate with "45". A structure that revolutionizes power and operability by preventing twisting. By winding DAIWA's proprietary bias cross (carbon fibers inclined at 45°) onto the traditional structure (0°, 90° to the rod tip), twisting is prevented, greatly improving power, operability, and sensitivity. The "45" X-structure, strong against twisting, is adopted in the naming. "X Torque" has been renamed "X45" as a worldwide trademark.
MEGATOP
Megatop is a carbon solid with fibers and resin evenly dispersed, showing similar bending in all directions. Its strength is significantly improved compared to regular carbon solids, enabling the creation of thin, flexible, high-taper tips. The sensitivity characteristic of carbon is not only felt physically but also visually enhanced at the tip.
HVF High-Volume Fiber
In the carbon sheet affecting rod performance, DAIWA focuses on increasing the elasticity of the carbon fibers themselves and reducing the amount of resin (adhesive) that binds the fibers. The "High-Density HVF Carbon," which reduces excess resin and increases fiber density, is more muscular and powerful. It is suitable for rods emphasizing toughness and strength.
