Sensory domain design system ESS (Expert Sense Simulation)

When the rod bends, energy (restorative force) occurs that tries to straighten it in the opposite direction. This is strain energy, which is the rod's performance-determining factor, as the deformed (stressed) blank tries to return to its original shape. Daiwa has independently developed a system to analyze and design this "strain energy," clearly understanding "what is excellent" and "what is lacking" numerically, and also reflecting the sensory domain of anglers in the design, bringing the rod closer to what anglers seek.


SVF NANOPLUS

Achieves lightness, power, and slimness by combining high-density carbon SVF with Toray (Inc.) Nano Alloy Technology using Daiwa's proprietary manufacturing method, enabling further high strength and lightweight.


X45X

The torsion generated during casting, action, hooking, and fighting is effectively tightened from the outermost layer of the tip of the blank, which is prone to twisting, with a 45-degree carbon bias cross structure called X45 full shield. This dramatically improves torsional rigidity, allowing for more accurate casting and harnessing the rod's inherent performance.







V-JOINTα

Using high-strength nano alloy material at the joint, and employing Daiwa's proprietary precision processing technology, V-Joint α was born, evolving V-Joint to be stronger, lighter, and with a more beautiful bend.
