ATD

Controls drag force in response to fish's pull, preventing the fish from gaining the lead. To utilize this feature, a loose drag setting is effective. During hooking, it applies strong tension, but always maintains drag against the fish's pull, allowing landing without excessive thrashing even for large fish.


ZAION Air Rotor

Thorough analysis of the lightweight design of the line roller part and the evenly distributed weight on the rotation axis of the spinning reel's bail structure, which makes it difficult to achieve uniform weight distribution. Proper distribution is calculated, resulting in a rotor with light winding and a compact body, reducing the rotor's rotation radius and achieving even lighter rotation.


ZAION

A high-density carbon fiber woven into a carbon resin, surpassing magnesium in weight ratio strength, making the impossible possible. It is high rigidity, lightweight, and resistant to corrosion unlike metal, and is used for main parts of the reel.







Seamless new shape air bail

The decision to eliminate the stopper, which is a pathway for water and foreign objects, not only reduces weight and improves waterproof performance but also minimizes sudden troubles during harsh environments or when handling large fish, as required for the LUVIAS series.


LC-ABS Long Cast-ABS

The concept of reducing contact resistance of ABS remains, but by moving the contact point forward, it enables smoother line release. The ring protrudes forward, making it harder for the line to ride on the ring, resulting in about 5% increased casting distance and fewer troubles compared to conventional ABS. It is the next-generation ABS spool that realizes LC LONG CAST.
