Explanation by manufacturer
A wide variation of 7 to 21 shaku, equipped with functions beyond class, easy-to-use hard-type tip action carp rod
Adopting a 'Kabu Theory' design that achieves high operability through smooth bending point movement, firmly receiving the carp's pull with a robust body, from shallow to deep water, from topwater to wild fishing, suitable for any fishing spot or method. The craftsmanship of each section is handmade, featuring the high-end 'Bushi Dashi Dan Nuri' (section finishing with layered paint). An enduring masterpiece that can be used without boredom for a long time.
DAIWA TECHNOLOGY
Kabu Theory
A design method that incorporates traditional Japanese rod know-how. "Each section of the rod is like a single rod, with the tip being soft and the base harder." Analyzing this at a microscopic level and connecting it in a balanced way allows for smooth movement of the bending point, a unique DAIWA design technology. Notably, unlike conventional rods where the bending point moves significantly, in Kabu Theory it moves smoothly, preventing the fish from thrashing when hooked. It achieves the ideal balance required for carp rods.
V-Joint
Using DAIWA's original bias structure carbon sheet at the joint to ensure the rod draws a minimal distortion, creating a beautiful curve. Achieved smooth bending at the joint and high-performance in power, response, and sensitivity. For delicate carp rods, smooth bending at the joint significantly contributes to lifting power.
