While providing a solid action during slow retrieves, it is adjusted to suddenly break its action erratically. This can trigger a neutral bite in rockfish that might otherwise ignore consistent action. The 55F excels in depths shallower than 1m, while the 55S offers higher casting performance compared to floating models and is effective for offshore rockfish or when targeting deeper ranges.
