Aiming for a lightweight and easy-to-throw rod. The first surf rod is Nessa BB.
Nessa BB is designed to be easy to handle for those starting surf fishing.
A particular focus was on lightness, successfully reducing weight compared to the previous Nessa BB, and minimizing the feeling of weight during long casts. Designed so that even those without confidence in strength can cast comfortably and easily reach long distances.
Furthermore, during fish fighting, it is designed to handle delicate lure manipulation and has the power to handle bluefish during fights.
It is a surf-specific rod for beginners that inherits the performance of higher-class blanks.
FEATURE (Features)
High Power X
A reinforced structure that further suppresses twisting during casting and fighting. Features include the spiral X outer layer or a cross-structured carbon sheet with additional carbon tape tightened in an X shape. This ensures the rod’s bend retains the angler’s intended direction and fully demonstrates the blank’s inherent performance.
CI4+
An evolved version of Shimano’s proprietary material CI4, reinforced with carbon fiber. It is characterized by being lighter and having higher strength compared to traditional resins.
