The blank features Spiral X and Hyper Power X. It suppresses tip wobble during casting and power loss during fighting. With a torqueful yet smooth bending action across the entire rod, it handles explosive fights with big trout. The tip uses a soft tube top that maintains operability and sensitivity, and is less likely to reject short bites. The large-diameter top guide reduces guide freezing troubles in severe winter. The spinning model's butt guide uses a titanium AT guide for weight reduction. It is a comprehensive product capable of handling a variety of area trout lure techniques such as winding, operation, hooking, and setting, with bait tackle.

Spiral X

Overcomes twisting and crushing, fundamentally enhancing rod performance.

Spiral X is a three-layer structure with carbon tape tightly wound diagonally in opposite directions on the inner and outer layers of the rod's vertical fibers. The diagonal fibers on the inside and outside maintain lightness while achieving high torsional and crush resistance. Instant power transfer during casting and fighting improves, maintaining lightness and increasing the rod's fundamental ability to 'capture.' This is Shimano's original 'basic structure.'

Hyper Power X

A reinforced structure that further suppresses twisting during casting and fighting. It features wrapping carbon tape in an X-shape over the outermost layer of Spiral X or over the cross-structured carbon tape.
