Additionally, the micro-module gear with X-SHIP supports smooth winding. The high rigidity is achieved with a core solid body, balancing lightweight design and durability. The mode dial, previously integrated inside the side plate, has evolved into a new brake adjustment dial unit that allows external adjustment along with the brake dial. With 3 modes and 5 levels of brake force, totaling 15 shifts, it enables instant fine-tuning without opening the side plate. This makes it easier to match the best settings to changing field conditions and target lures, bringing you closer to the next fish. For expert settings, such as intentionally winding less fluorocarbon line to reduce spool inertia, selecting N mode (less brake force) instead of F mode is now possible solely with the external dial, allowing more refined tuning.
