It allows you to expand one USB Type-C port and one 3.5mm 4-pole mini jack into one USB A port, one USB PD-compatible USB Type-C port, one 3.5mm 4-pole mini jack, and one HDMI output port. It supports "DisplayPort Alternate Mode" for adding an HDMI display via a USB Type-C connection.
The HDMI output supports 4K/30Hz, allowing you to easily create a multi-display environment (Mirror Mode/Extend Mode) without installing any software. The USB Type-C port supports "USB Power Delivery (USB PD)," enabling you to charge the connected Surface Go when using a separate AC adapter.
The shape integrates seamlessly with the edge of the Surface Go without compromising its appearance. Since it plugs directly into the device, there are no dangling cables to get in the way. It does not interfere with the genuine charging cable (Surface Connect), allowing for simultaneous use while charging.
It is ideal for connecting peripherals such as mice, USB flash drives, headphones, and speakers. Equipped with a Gigabit (1000BASE-T) compatible wired LAN port, it allows you to establish a stable network environment. It is a lightweight, compact type weighing approximately 25g, making it easy to carry. An LED is mounted on the side, which glows blue when powered.
