What is Ganiashi?The raw material is the rhizoid (not the root kelp) of Ma-kombu. Because the rhizoid's shape, clinging to rocks, resembles a crab's leg, Hokkaido fishermen call it "Ganiashi."Our company has processed this "Ganiashi" into an easy-to-drink, highly absorbable "granule" form, rather than a tablet. Our "Ganiashi Granules" are a proven product with a patent.Originally, research conducted by Kitasato University, Tokyo University of Agriculture, Kitami Institute of Technology, and Kaigen Pharma Co., Ltd. reported effects such as antitumor activity, suppression of blood pressure elevation, and prevention of influenza infection. Subsequently, Dr. Tadayoshi Sugimoto and Professor Emeritus Noboru Manabe of the University of Tokyo conducted further research on the effects of Ganiashi and commercialized it by elucidating new mechanisms of action, resulting in "Ganiashi Granules."The key actions of "Ganiashi Granules" are related to two substances/processes: adiponectin and apoptosis.
What is Adiponectin?Adiponectin is a substance discovered by Professor Matsuzawa's group at the Department of Molecular Control Medicine, Osaka University. Adiponectin is an anti-aging hormone and a rejuvenation hormone produced by visceral fat. It is known as a hormone that prevents diseases that tend to occur with aging, and it is a super "good" substance with effects such as making the body less prone to cancer, improving insulin sensitivity with anti-diabetic effects, and repairing vascular endothelial cell damage with anti-atherosclerotic effects. It has also been found that healthy centenarians and older individuals have twice the level of good adiponectin in their blood compared to the general population. "Ganiashi Granules" have been reported to have an adiponectin-raising effect.
What is Apoptosis?Apoptosis is the phenomenon where cells that constitute a living organism die on their own when their role is finished or they become unnecessary. In living organisms, most cancerous cells are continuously eliminated through apoptosis. Necrosis, on the other hand, is the phenomenon of forcibly killing cells, such as with chemotherapy drugs, and is accompanied by side effects. Apoptosis, however, does not have side effects. "Ganiashi Granules" have been reported to induce apoptosis in human cancer cells.
