Precautions for Use:To maintain a comfortable breeding environment for insects, please replace the mat approximately every two weeks. The timing for mat replacement may vary depending on the number of insects being bred and the breeding environment. Since a sudden change in environment can shock larvae if all the old mat is replaced, it is recommended to add new mat while leaving about 30% of the old mat. Please match the moisture and temperature of the new mat to the old mat as much as possible. This product is for insect breeding. Do not use for any other purpose. As the product itself is made from naturally decaying plants further fermented, you may notice a smell similar to the sweet and sour smell of sap in broadleaf trees or the smell of excrement, but this does not affect breeding. Especially when starting use in summer, the bacteria become active, and the smell tends to become stronger. In such cases, store in a well-ventilated area and dry if there is too much moisture. Digging up and mixing the soil is also effective. Store out of reach of children. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after touching insects or insect-related products. When storing, avoid direct sunlight and high temperature/humidity. Depending on storage conditions, white mycelium (take-kin) may appear, but this serves as nutrition for larvae and is not a problem for insect breeding. Please mix well before use. As this product uses natural wood, there may be slight differences in color. To avoid disrupting Japan's insect ecosystem, please be careful not to release or allow foreign insects to escape during breeding.
