After attending Tokyo University of the Arts and studying at the graduate school of the same university. Semi-finalist at the 51st Geneva International Music Competition, the 2nd Adolf Sax International Competition. 4th place at the 16th Japan Wind Instrument Competition. While performing as an alto saxophonist with the Osaka City Music Orchestra, she actively performs in solo recitals, ensemble concerts, guest appearances with orchestras and chamber music, recordings, TV appearances, and more. She also serves as a judge for wind music contests, ensemble contests, and solo contests. Wrote a one-point lesson in Band Journal magazine in 2010. Awarded the Excellent Instructor Prize at the 12th Osaka International Music Competition. Released her first album 'Carmen Fantasy' from Meister Music in January 2011. Selected as a semi-special selection in Record Geijutsu magazine. Currently engaged in mentoring students at Kyoto City Kyoto Horikawa High School of Music and Tokushima Bunri University. Studied saxophone under Kazuo Tomioka, Masato Ikegami, and Tetsuya Sukawa, and jazz under Ken Kawada.
