Aleppo Soap (Light) 180g is an additive-free soap made using traditional methods, crafted from carefully selected Syrian olive oil and laurel oil (bay leaf oil).

The "Light" version contains a smaller amount of laurel oil, resulting in a soap that is lighter and gentler on the skin.

It has undergone a maturation period of over five years, which makes it notably hard and resistant to melting.

It is especially recommended for those with delicate skin.

What is Laurel Oil?
Laurel oil, extracted from laurel (bay leaf) trees, is considered more luxurious than olive oil locally and has been treasured since ancient times.
It is also used to flavor dishes and is characterized by a woody, refreshing aroma.

This soap is slowly finished through a maturation process.
Aleppo soap is traditionally cooked in a cauldron for three days and nights, then carefully stacked.
Initially green, the surface gradually turns amber-colored, and after more than two years of aging, it is completed.

About the current Aleppo soap:
Due to the Syrian civil war that began in 2011, Aleppo was affected by conflict.
In January 2014, the producer Adel Fansa relocated their factory to Latakia, Syria, and resumed production.

While there are slight changes in texture (surface roughness) compared to before the relocation, the raw materials and manufacturing process remain unchanged, so you can use it with confidence.

We sincerely hope for peace and an end to the conflict as we think of the hardships faced by the people of Syria.

Usage Instructions:
- For facial cleansing:
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap, then gently form a slight cupped shape with your palms and quickly add water (or lukewarm water) while rubbing.
Once enough foam is produced, gently envelop your face with the foam without scrubbing.
Rinse well afterward.

*Caution: It can be very painful if it gets into your eyes. If contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.*

- For body cleansing:
For sensitive skin, it is sufficient to apply the soap directly to the skin with your hands without using a towel, then rinse.
This results in smooth, moist skin.

- For scalp and hair cleansing:
1. Before bathing, brush your hair and rinse lightly with water to remove dirt.
2. Work the Aleppo soap into your hands and massage into the scalp, then rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
(You can also lightly press the soap against your hair and rotate it to apply. Be sure to rinse well.)
If you experience tangling after shampooing, use a commercial soap-shampoo conditioner or rinse with citric acid water.
