● Burt Bacharach, regarded as one of the greatest hitmakers of the 20th century, was born on May 12, 1928, in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. He is currently 91 years old. Around 1956, he met lyricist Hal David and formed a partnership that continued until the early 1970s, producing hit songs and classics repeatedly. From the 1960s to the 1970s, he developed a unique style called the “Bacharach sound,” establishing his position and fame as a composer at the top of American popular music.
