【Synopsis】First-year resident Madoka Wakatuki (Kyoko Yoshine) begins her work at Seikou General Hospital and encounters a Code Blue situation within the hospital. There, she is approached and invited by the mysterious Shiji Tsunoda (Eiji Okuda), and she witnesses the swift response of senior doctors, which moves her deeply.
However, once her residency begins, her working hours are 9 to 5, and she feels frustrated with the hospital's "customer service" approach, which emphasizes no harassment. Meanwhile, veteran doctors such as surgeon Masaki Nishiyama (Masaki Akahori), Emergency Center Director Tomoya Kinosaki (Ryuuta Sato), and internist Saeko Tezuka (Tae Kimura) suppress their irritation over the current shortage of doctors and the inexperience of the residents while providing guidance.
Together with her同期 (colleagues) Chifuyu Ozaki (Hikari Takahashi), Shou Igarashi (Ryuusei Onishi), Kento Momoki (Kaijin Yoshimura), and Moe Yokokawa (Sakurako Konishi), she begins her training under the "Super Rotation" system, moving through various departments. Initially assigned to surgery, her instructor is Takeru Kanno (Nobuyuki Suzuki).
However, reality is far from her hopes—she struggles with inserting IV needles, needs to go to the bathroom during surgeries, and is mistaken for a nurse, facing many obstacles. One day, Madoka visits her hospitalized patient, Akane Yukawa (Mayumi Tanaka). When Madoka suggests consulting Kanno about Akane’s back pain, she is told, "It's just a crick, so it's fine."
