The music is composed by Takatsugu Muramatsu, who has previously collaborated with director Serizawa on 『Antoki no Inochi』 (2011), 『64: Rokuyon - Part 1/Part 2』 (2016), 『The Miracles of the Wedding Over Eight Years』 (2017), and 『We Were Not Protected』 (2021), making this his fifth work with Serizawa. Among these, 『64: Rokuyon - Part 1』, 『The Miracles of the Wedding Over Eight Years』, and 『We Were Not Protected』 have won the Japan Academy Prize for Excellent Music, and their collaboration has received high praise. In this work, Irish and Celtic elements of the Uilleann pipes and the warm tone of the euphonium brass instrument gently envelop the bond between father and son.
