□Synopsis
Surrounded by the sea on all four sides and the black flower of calamity, Lycoris Noir, lies the nation of Arpège, a land favored by Death. Its citizens, cursed to die by the age of 23 due to the "Curse of Death," have, after years of research, created a system: shedding their bodies that would meet death by age 23 and preserving only their memories—"Memory Download." Those who live on perpetually through "Memory Download" are called "Revivers," continuing to resist their short lifespans.
At the same time, there was a girl, known as "Death" because everyone she was involved with met misfortune. A mysterious man, claiming to be the "Guardian of Death," appeared before the girl who was trying to end her own life. The Guardian invites her to explore the "various mysteries of death" that plague this nation. What will she feel at the end of the despair and salvation that awaits her?
