Appeared one day as if "ink" was seeping from the earth and sky,
And spread across the six continents of the world.
The world was painted jet-black by the calamity of "Destructive Ink".
However, the "City of the Waning Moon", "Ido", continued to resist the ink's erosion.
"Ido" belongs to "Tokinokuni", which has a culture similar to medieval Japan,
And is a fortress city protected by a powerful magical technology barrier located directly beneath the "Moon" that always shines in the sky.
Through the government agency "Tokinikunitaihu", "Ido" summoned survivors scattered not only throughout "Tokinokuni" but also around the world to "Ido", and selected "Sumimetsusha" (Ink Exterminators) from among those with superior abilities.
They were tasked with going to the "Kusarigyu" (Chained Palace) area, the most dangerous region within the ink-invaded territory that must not be approached.
With their power, they attempted to find a way to annihilate the calamity of destructive ink and purify the land.
