The "story" changes based on the "choices" made in the story, and determines the "evolution" of monsters. The story progresses as a text adventure, and the game progresses through conversations with characters and by investigating various places. "Choices" may appear during conversations and investigations, and the story branches based on the accumulation of actions chosen from the "choices," changing the evolution path of the partner Agumon. Tactical "battles" using monster "skills" and "evolution" to fight. In the story, tactical battles against enemy monsters occasionally occur, and up to 10 units are deployed on the field to fight. Monsters can unleash "skills" by consuming SP, or "evolve" into unlocked evolution paths. Fight by devising strategies while utilizing each monster's abilities and considering terrain and species compatibility.
