About the Artist - Soujirou Fujitani (Fujitani Soujirou)■ BiographyBorn in 1966 in Hyogo Prefecture.Graduated in 1989 from Osaka Designer College PD Course.Worked at an illustration production company before becoming independent in 1994.Founded S&R ILLUSTRATION in 1995.Became a part-time instructor at Osaka Designer College PD Course in 1996.In 2005, changed the business name to S and R (illustrations).In 2011, started selling original works (Giclée prints).Held first solo exhibition in 2012 (Heiwa Paper Industry Paper Voice Osaka).Member of JAGDA (Japan Graphic Designers Association).
■ CareerOver 23 years in commercial advertising illustration, involved in over 300 works including product packaging, catalogs, and posters.Mainly skilled in analog, realistic illustration techniques.His original works, developed through analog methods, depict themes of houseplants and nature in digital environments, emphasizing the importance of environmental issues.
