One of the series, the Ichimatsu pattern, features a regular, checkered design that also carries the meaning of "prosperity of descendants" and "continuation of business."

The size of the tenugui (hand towel) is approximately 90 cm in length and 35 cm in width. It is similar in size to a face towel, but its thin and compact form makes it easy to carry without bulk.
Made from 100% cotton, the fabric becomes softer with use, offering a gentle touch on the skin.

The Ichimatsu pattern appears to be alive, as if imbued with vitality.
It looks as if it has been brought to life, reminiscent of the pattern’s historical association with kabuki actor Ichimatsu Sano, who appeared in stylish white and navy costumes, captivating audiences—especially women, who eagerly adopted the look.
Originally called "Ishidatami" (stone pavement pattern), it was renamed Ichimatsu for its popularity.
Even today, it is featured in manga such as *Demon Slayer* (*Kimetsu no Yaiba*), where the protagonist’s green and black haori (kimono coat) design is inspired by this pattern, making it beloved across generations and ages.
