One of the series, the Ume (plum blossom), is a motif loved by people since ancient times for its beauty, vitality, nobility, and fragrant image.

It is made from traditional canvas fabric of the domestic brand "Fujikinbai," woven carefully one by one using a rare shuttle loom, which is now a valuable craft.

Each piece is hand-dyed by artisans at a dyeing factory in Kyoto.

The use of traditional techniques results in deep, rich colors and a unique texture.
