With "Sento" (public bathhouse) and "Sake" (alcohol) as its themes, the series depicted the story of an advertising company salesman, Takayuki Utsumi (Shigeyuki Totsugi), who skips work to visit a public bathhouse and drink sake during the daytime on weekdays. The series gained significant attention, similar to "Kodoku no Gurume" (The Solitary Gourmet).
