Using a single obi, I have tied it in the same manner as when dressing in a kimono. An obi is a long sash used to secure a kimono. I have created a luxurious knot without cutting or using glues and scissors.

This knot is an authentic obi knot traditionally tied when wearing a kimono. There are various types of obi knots, ranging from traditional styles to original designs. Typically, obi tying is performed by professionals known as kitsuke-shi (kimono dressers).
Obi tying is a form of Japanese traditional art, and I wanted to transform this beautiful knot into a decorative piece. By tying it onto a panel, I was able to complete it as a decorative item. It can be displayed on an easel or hung as a wall decoration using the string on the back. Additionally, it is possible to frame it; please contact me separately if you’re interested. This luxurious obi knot is perfect not only for your home but also for offices, bars, hotels, and other spaces, adding an elegant touch wherever it’s displayed.
I will package it carefully to prevent any disarrangement during shipping, but if the fabric edges get slightly out of place, you can easily fix it by hand.
If you ever grow tired of the display, you can untie it and use it as a tapestry or table runner. Please iron it out before use in such cases.
