当園は創業した明治十二年以来、宇治川、木津川流域の山城地方で生産されたお茶の中から良質品をよりすぐり、昔ながらの伝統製法で丹念に仕上げた宇治茶をお届けしております。室町時代、足利義満将軍は宇治七茗園と呼ばれる優れた茶園を七か所指定し、その内唯一残っている「奥ノ山茶園」を当社が栽培しております。昭和五十六年の奥ノ山茶園の改植時に、当園のオリジナル品種の「成里乃」「奥の山」を古木より選抜しました。宇治でも数少ない茶園栽培から製造、加工、販売までを手掛ける茶商としてこの茗園の歴史と共に歩み、品質本意の言葉を忘れず、ほんまもんの宇治茶を現代にお伝えしております。
